I was an employee at applebees in New dorp of Staten island where Neil Ruskin is the general manager. I walked In For my shift from the rain outside with my hood on and my general manager says to me "hey trayvon take your hood off".

He was referring to trayvon Martin, the kid who was killed because of his hood. I was not a fan of this statement but I didn't say anything at the time because I was afraid of losing my job but now I dont have the job and I want this stuff to be heard.

Was that the only thing he ever said or did? Can you give more background?

He might have been trying to be funny and it failed. Bad humor, but possibly a misunderstanding and not blatant racism.

Very racist against black employees throughout Dallas, my friend warned me about them. She actually worked for two of their establishments and experienced racism at both.

I still decided to give it a try and it was the worst experience ever. The managers are racist so beware
